Welcome. I'm glad you're here.

In many respects, I write my blog for you.  I try to address issues that are helpful to lawyers and other allied professionals in my blog. My goal is that we can use that venue as a forum for discussing the issues about merging human kindness with legal work.  Please visit, or link, to my blog (lawlady.typepad.com).  Let's grow the profession by mutually supportive alliances.   

I'm always working to grow my practice and love to meet professionals who are in a position to refer me work. Likewise, I enjoy meeting lawyers to whom I can refer.  Currently, I'm exited to meet business attorneys, probate attorneys interested in collaborative law, attorneys who do trademark and copyright, attorneys who are fun to hang out with, attorneys who do family law, bankruptcy attorneys, and attorneys who would like to host joint functions with me. 

For lawyers and allied professionals who wish to grow into collaborative practice, below are some articles you may find helpful.  The first step for you will be in contact the local group, Washington Collaborative Practice. They can be found at www.washcl.org.  Collaborative law is a wonderful way to practice, but we are not going to have enough cases until professionals begin to share referrals.
